AT&T Restricting Personal Hotspot MyWi Use on iPhones

AT&T is reportedly restricting the Personal Hotspot feature which you enable by using MyWI cydia tweak to allow other iOS devices to connect with your WiFi, on your iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

 AT&T users said, AT&T first contact with an SMS saying, “AT&T Free Msg: Did you know tethering your Smartphone to a computer requires a tethering plan? Please call 888-860-6789 for details or visit att.com/dataplans.”

The SMS was then followed up with an email that warned he would be switched to the tethering plan if he continue to tether.

Good news for iPhone 3GS users who are desperately waiting for the unlock tool. iPhone developer and Hacker iH8sn0w who recently launched sn0wbreeze 2.3b3 iOS 4.3 tethered jailbreaking tool for Windows users, has managed to port a new unlock tool called ultrasn0w fixer. This tool will be able to unlock your iPhone 3GS baseband 4.26.08 on iOS 4.3 firmware which was previously cracked the iPad baseband 6.15.00.

Ultrasn0w fixer unlock tool is developed by the msftguy who actually the same person who created theTinyUmbrella tool for iOS 4.3. However, iOS hacker, iH8sn0w got success to port the tool to the iOS 4.3 official release. How to download from reCAPTCHA free hosters without hassle ?? Plug-in I'm going to describe here is official HDownloader plug-in discussed on JDownloader offical forum,
so you don't have to worry, about this being a scam. I think there is no need to explain what JDownloader is and what it does. But what I think needs a bit explanation and reason why I'm actually writing this simple tutorial is how to be able to use JDownloader to AUTOMATICALLY download from free file hosters which use reCAPTCHA protections.

Generally, you will all agree that entering reCAPTCHA codes in not a complicated thing to do (even lately Goolge has added some more challenge even for humans to reCAPTCHA codes). But is is very inconvenient to leave downloads from such free hosters unattended, especially during the night.

So, to solve this issue I was surfing around to find a suitable solution to solve my problems and without asking me for any kind of payment (so yes, read on this method WON'T ask you to pay for anything!). And I've found it! So, if you're still interested read on ...

This plug-in enables you to type in reCAPTCHA codes when you have time and gain credits for it, which you can later spend for automating your downloads from free hosts using reCAPTCHA codes. This means you will not need to type in anything, others will do it for you!

But please, before you proceed, just keep in mind that you WON'T NEED to make any kind of payment for this method to work for you, as well I WON'T GET any payment for writting this simple tutorial!

You'll only need to create an account, but not to make any kind of payments, just for the system to be able to track your credits.

1. OK, this is what you need to do to make this work for you: Get JDownloader from http://jdownloader.org (it's a free java based download manager). or Download from this link for OfflineSetup 
2. Go to Here Here (don't worry I'm not being paid if you follow this link) and find item "Account" on menu or click on "Sign up for a free account!". Once again I won't receive any money if you create account, so you can do it freely. Also when you sign-up you will receive 100 free credits. A small word of advice: When you create your account, don't forget to go to your Inbox and verify your account, to prevent loosing all your credits (this also will cost you nothing). 
3. When you have created your account, find "Earn Credits" on menu and you will start to receiving reCAPTCHA codes  which you need to type in to earn credits. This credits will enable you to use this service to AUTOMATE your downloads from reCAPTCHA free hosters. For more information see FAQ to see how you earn or can spend your credits. The main thing is that you can very easily earn 500 credits which will be more than enough to automate any kind of download from free reCAPTCHA hosters. 
4. OK, now when you have some credits on your account, it is time for you to "cash them in", better said for others to solve your reCAPTCHA's. Find item "Plugins" on menu and download JDownloader plugin (available as Win and Linux download). I will show you how to use it under Win OS. 
5. If you have JDownloader running, close it completely, because it needs to restart to (re)load it's plugins. Open file captchatrader4jdownloader_win.zip which you have just downloaded in previous step and extract folder "captchatrader" from .zip archive to <JDownload Install Directory>jdcaptchamethods (ie. C:\Program Files\JDownloader\jd\captcha\methods\). 
6. Go to folder "captchatrader" (ie. C:\Program Files\JDownloader\jd\captcha\methods\captchatrader) and use Notepad (or any other text editor) to edit file named "captchatrader.properties". Once you have opened it enter your username and password you used when you created your account. This part is crucial as it will enable to use your earned credits! If you feel a bit insecure, you can also instead of typing in your password type in your Passkey (seems to me like MD5 hash of your password, so 100% secure) which can be found on 1st page when you log in to your account. This way no one can steal your credits, so you're safe to go.
7. once you have completed everything from previous step, (re)start JDownloader and enjoy hassles downloading from all reCAPTCHA free file hosters! there is no need to adjust any other settings in JDownloader for this plug-in to work!

All of you who have firewall, you may be asked to allow Java to access Internet, which you should do, as this plug-in needs to send your reCAPTCHA's to server and send you responses back. Anyway no harm in this process is done.

I've tried this and I can say this method works perfectly with many reCAPTCHA hosters. I know this is not a revolutionary thing, as there are other reCAPTCHA based services, but you have to pay for all of them,
and this one is FREE to use. The main point is you can earn credits yourself when you have time for it, to be able to spend
them later when you need your automated downloads. Or if you are tired of typing in, you can cheaply buy credits as well,
but this is NOT a prerequisite for this plugin to work!

And one more thing - I'm NOT the author of JDownloader, as well as this reCAPTCHA plug-in and will not be responsible for any  possible consequences. I just wanted to share part of my knowledge with you. If you are willing to try, feel free, if not maybe next time ...

Olympus SZ-30MR Digital Camera

Olympus has recently announced the launch of its new SZ-30MR Digital Camera in Hamburg, Germany. It may be considered as the most high tech camera yet from Olympus, who also has just launched the SZ-10 digital camera in February. For the new Olympus SZ-30MR Digital Camera, it is being launched as the world’s first digital camera to simultaneously capture and record 1080p Full HD video alongside 16Megapixel still images.


The “MR” in the Olympus SZ-30MR stands for “Multi Recording”. True enough, it is given the distinction of the world’s first camera to functionally record Full HD video and 16MP still images at the same time. The Olympus SZ-MR30 features Dual Engine TruePic III+ image processors that give it the power to record simultaneously in more than one mode and in a number of different combinations. Cydia Tweak For iPhone To Delete App Directly From SpringBoard

CyDelete is a new Cydia tweak that lets you enable to delete apps right from the Springboard a.k.a home screen, available for download. The tweak is compatible for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad running iOS 4.x. All you need to do a long hold press on the particular app then tap on the cross shaped-icon on the top left of the app.

CyDelete lets you uninstall Cydia applications directly from the springboard just like normal appstore applications. Just hold a springboard icon down and tap on the X and the app is uninstalled. To reinstall, load Cydia and install the app again.


We find that its very annoying for the people who eventually installed some crappy apps from the Cydia and get little frustrated, then to go Cydia -> packages *search for the app* which takes too much time and for me its really frustrated and some of time i usually leave that thing as it it. But by using the CyDelete tweak you can easily remove the unwanted app directly from the desktop i mean Springboard. Though, its a handy app for me.

AttachmentSaver Saves Your Mail.app Attachments!

Jailbreak Verizon iPhone 4 on iOS 4.2.6 using GreenPoison RC5.4

Step By Step Guide to Jailbreak Verizon iPhone 4 (CDMA):

Step 1: Download latest version of GreenPoison RC5 beta 4 for Windows and Mac (Download links given below).
Step 2: Connect your Verizon CDMA-based iPhone 4 with Computer via USB data cable.
Step 3: Now, run GreenPois0n RC5b4, and click on the “Jailbreak” button (as you can see in the picture below).

Step 4: Follow the below instructions as your device is now in DFU Mode.

• Press and hold the sleep button for 2 seconds

Unlock iPhone 4 Baseband 2.10.04 / 3.10.01 to Release on Jan 22nd

The iPhone Dev-Team may release Ultrasn0w tool to Unlock iPhone 4 baseband 2.10.04 and 3.10.01 for iOS 4.3 / 4.2.5 on January 22nd, Saturday. As Apple didn’t change the Bootroom in it’s recent iOS firmware releases for developers, also for the CDMA iOS 4.2.5 firmware.

The news was announced by the UnlockSalvation a.k.a Ronaldo Brazilian, However this release date may not be confirmed and considering as fake report, as UnlockSalvation (who is a Brazilian hackers) is not a members of iPhone Dev-Team.
According to his tweet:

Well, he’s looking pretty confident on the release of tool, when a user asked him about “Unlock is ready?”, he replied Yes!
