Jailbreak Verizon iPhone 4 on iOS 4.2.6 using GreenPoison RC5.4

Tutorial: A complete step-by-step guide on how to jailbreak your Verizon CDMA based iPhone 4 running iOS 4.2.6 using GreenPois0n RC5.4 for Windows and Mac users.Earlier, The Chronic Dev Team has released the GreenPois0n RC5 beta 4 version which allows you to untethered jailbreak your Verizon CDMA iPhone 4 on iOS 4.2.6. Well, here we are with our complete self made tutorial to help you guys with your Verizon CDMA model devices. The guide is pretty much similar as you do on the GSM based iPhone versions.

Step By Step Guide to Jailbreak Verizon iPhone 4 (CDMA):

Step 1: Download latest version of GreenPoison RC5 beta 4 for Windows and Mac (Download links given below).
Step 2: Connect your Verizon CDMA-based iPhone 4 with Computer via USB data cable.
Step 3: Now, run GreenPois0n RC5b4, and click on the “Jailbreak” button (as you can see in the picture below).

Step 4: Follow the below instructions as your device is now in DFU Mode.

• Press and hold the sleep button for 2 seconds
• Continue holding sleep; press and hold home for 10 seconds.
• Release sleep button; continue holding home for 15 seconds.

Step 5: When you’re in the DFU Mode, GreenPois0n will starts the jailbreaking process on your device automatically.

Step 6: Your Verizon iPhone 4 done with jailbreaking process on iOS 4.2.6. Now simply restart your device.
Step 7: Now a new Loader icon is appeared on your Springboard. Tap on it, and install Cydia. That’s it!
Now you should have a jailbroken (untethered) Verizon iPhone 4 running on iOS 4.2.6.
NOTE: ** To be on safe side, you can make a back up folder of your content, so in case if anything goes wrong, you will be able to load iOS 4.2.6 again via iTunes.**
